Sunday afternoon I was eating my lunch out on our porch which is one of my favorite spots on a beautiful, warm afternoon. I like to play a quick round of speed chess and listen to the breeze sing to the trees while tickling their leaves. Contemplating my next game move I noticed something I hadn’t seen before. Amidst the assorted stuff strewn across our porch was an Arrowhead water bottle and the logo jumped out at me. The designer embedded an arrowhead into a mountain graphic. How did I never notice that?

It got me thinking about other clever logo brands. Typically they use positive and negative space, stylized letters, or color to hide a symbol inside the overall logo wielding a double meaning for the observant viewer which reinforces something about the product or company.  Here are a few examples. Can you think of any?

Like a graphic designer with logos, God, the Grand Designer, embeds insights for us to learn in our everyday routine and interactions. He is always calling us closer to himself and preparing us for what he has next. I want to be open to him revealing this wisdom and teachable enough to apply it.
